The Mulhern House

This historic adobe home built in 1905 is located five blocks from the hotel on a street lined with early Fort Davis homes.

Ask for suite #3, it has a private screened porch off a glassed sun porch, all overlooking the orchard in the back and Sleeping Lion Mountain.

The Mulhern house has three suites, each with private baths and separate living areas. All rooms are decorated in reproduction antique furniture, including king size beds.

The common areas of the home include an entry parlor with a fireplace, a dining room which seats ten, a kitchen stocked for light cooking, and a full laundry room.

The house has a large front porch that once wrapped around the entire house and a large back yard full of shade and fruit trees.

The "Cottage"

This 1940's cottage is tucked up on four acres of Sleeping Lion Mountain, approximately six blocks from the hotel.

When purchased by the hotel, the home contained its original furnishings, many of which remain today.

The home, with two bedrooms and one bath is perfect for a family or for two couples.

For the comfort of the guests there is a full kitchen, dining room, and living room, as well as a patio overlooking the town of Fort Davis.
